In May of 1987 Brother Ted Huston met with four families who had met to organize Central Baptist Church of Jefferson City, Missouri.  After answering the call to the Pastorate of Central Baptist Church he began his official duties as Pastor on August 3, 1987.  A native of Haven, Kansas; Pastor Huston was educated at Hutchinson Community Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas; and Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education.  He met and married Julie in 1976 between their Junior and Senior year.  Pastor Huston played football on the Bethany College Varsity Team, and had as his life's goal to be a college football coach.  After teachiig and coaching for six years in Kansas the Lord began working upon Pastor Huston's heart to preach the Gospel.  In 1983 Pastor Huston surrendered his life to the Ministry of the Gospel and moved to Festus, Missouri where he received his training while serving at Second Baptist Church.  Pastor and Mrs. Huston are the parents of two married sons, and one daughter.

Pastor Huston is on the Executive Board of The Rock of Ages Prison Ministry of Cleveland, Tennessee. 

He has authored three pamphets in The Difficult Issues Series.  Divorce, Women In Ministry, and Christian Attire

He Coaches and Preaches annually at the Midwest Christian Boy's Football Camp in Dwight, Illinois

    Brother Jeremy Huston                   Mrs. Jessica Huston

The Youth Pastor of Central Baptist Church is Brother Jeremy Huston.  He serves along with his wife Jessica.  They are graduates of Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois.  Brother Jeremy is the second son of Pastor and Mrs. Ted Huston and grew up at Central Baptist Church.  Every Thursday night the young people of Central Baptist Church meet in the Fellowship Hall for Teen Church and enjoy the exciting singing, fellowship, and preaching by Brother Jeremy.  Jeremy has a vocal music cassette and CD entitled It Was For Me.  He sings specials for the services, and oversees the special music of Central Baptist Church.

Jeremy and Jessica take the Teens of Central Baptist Church on College Tours, to National Youth Conference, have frequent Afterglows at their home, and have Monthly Youth Activites.

Jeremy is an alumni of Midwest Christian Boys Football Camp in Dwight, Illinois and now returns to work as a coach.

Bro. Jeremy and Mrs. Jessica have been called by the Lord to go start a church in McHenry County, IL, and are planning to leave the beginning of July 2009.  Their website is www.freewebs.com/jeremyhuston.  They will be moving to McHenry County in July, and hope to have the Foundation Baptist Church of McHenry County started by September 2009.
